Dance together coming from different cultures from the Spaniards from Spain to the Africans that were enslaved, the immigrants from Europe and Asia to the Indians that intermixed when their population became less after genocide. Dance together to tell the story. The story of pain, the story of war and pride.
Dance together as a community and family with different skin colors in spite of its history of sacrifice and victories.
One song and a dance combining a mixture of a language bringing everyone together through the sway of the hips and turns of Salsa, Bachata and Merengue to the jumps to the rhythm of the bongo drums heard in Africa through Bomba in the Caribbean to the sound of Reggaetón and Salsa Choke. Dance together.
